Casa de Colores is filled with vibrant colors, as its name implies. Located on the north end of Half Moon Bay, the four-bedroom, two-story home and its one-bedroom, two-story casita enjoy beautiful Caribbean views from every room. It’s an easy walk to snorkeling at Yalku Lagoon and Half Moon Bay, and a 20-minute walk to central Akumal with its excellent restaurants and shopping.

The main house has large living and dining rooms with comfortable, custom-built furnishings and expansive views and the kitchen has a granite island and countertops, louvred-door cabinets and plenty of storage as well as a laundry room. A half-bath is accessed from the living room. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and king beds except one, which features a queen bed and double futon.

The charming casita has a kitchenette and a small dining and living area in addition to a bedroom with king-sized bed and a full bath accessed by a circular staircase.

A full-sized swimming pool is located on the non-Caribbean side of the home and casita for protection from the wind. The pool terrace is tiled with conchuela, which stays cool on the hottest tropical days; two palapas offer shade.

This colorful villa rents well for family reunions, wedding parties, or large groups of friends. It features a built-in barbeque and wood-fired oven, terraces facing the Caribbean on both floors, fabulous views and hammocks on the rooftop and a very large lot extending onto the rocky coast. The entire upstairs has recently been refurbished, including new floor tile, bathroom vanities and sinks, and newly tiled showers. All furnishings and linens convey.
